Lord Null's target was actually The Liar, whose persona revolved around keeping everyone guessing what his actual attacks would be.

Lord Null opens the CodeSix interface and inputs the KOPIPE spell.
"Now, let's see if I remember how to do this..."

Lord Null's appearance changes to match that of The Liar.
"Ugh. That's absolutely revolting.
I don't know how you put up with this."

Lord Null taunts the exclamation mark-flinging newcomer.

Lord Null's goat-skull staff transforms into a scythe.
"Don't worry, though; this won't hurt at all."

Lord Null rushes towards the newcomer.
"Persevere!"
